Electro-Culture Pipe

I made an 'Electro-Culture Pipe', following the directions from George Starr White's _Electroculture for Land and Man_. I had to substitute a narrow copper pipe (~$12) for the copper grounding rod. For the capacity at the top, instead of using a bronze or copper ball I instead made a resin+copper powder (50/50) cast in a 2" diameter silicone ball (dog toy, $1), and then bored out a 1/2" hole. The hole for the 5'6" long x 2" diameter galvanized steel pipe ($10, 'conduit') is about 5' deep. The copper rod was 10' and is about 2' deeper into the ground than the steel pipe. The copper rod is surrounded with wet sand ($4 bag) and is not in contact with the steel pipe. I wound a 14 guage insulated copper wire around the copper rod and ran that about 20 feet up to a more accessible location. At the other end of the wire I have tried a couple things. 1) Just coiling the a foot or so of bare wire around my left wrist. 2) Inserting a couple inches of bare wire into a pyramid I made from the 'N-mixture' (manganese dioxide + hardened carbon + magnetite + resin). 1) yielded a set of visceral sensations much like the 'vitic rods' (steel rod in left hand, carbon rod in right hand), sort of a 'buzzing' feeling and the sense of my pulse throughout my body and the sense of not caring to move or get up. The pyramid has yielded some more interesting results. After lying prone while holding said pyramid in my left hand for some minutes with eyes closed, I opened my eyes to the canopy of trees overhead. I saw the same 'neural discharge' pattern in the sky that I often see, but in greater clarity than typical. The discharge patterns and like bright specks that transit one of hundreds of fixed (in space) squiggle patterns over the course of 1 second or so. Also, in looking past the branches and leaves, I could see a distinct white glow (aura) around the perimeter of each tree against the blue sky.

In other news, I have recently read through Gerry Vassilatos' interview in Borderlands circa 1995, conducted by Michael Theroux entitled "On the rediscovery of vril". I wish that I had started with this document as he states a number of things quite bluntly in this document that I had to piece together elsewhere. I particular 1) his use of a very large vacuum sealed variable capacitor and variable inductor, 3' tall each in series with 1 or 2 (iron) grounds and a radionic band of variable capacitors or carbon resistors 2) that he was able to see a crystalling black radiant structure permeating space as the 'ground state' of being 3) that his experience with vril began with grasping an iron rod in a green field and that said experience grew over a period of time 4) that vril currents are 'eidetic' or visionary currents, often experienced by children. Interestingly, he describes these as more like 3 dimensional dioramas and less as 2d images. Also, and I continue to have trouble really grasping this one, he sticks to the idea that the various celestial progressions (e.g. earth around sun) are the result of distortions. The "space and counterspace" book touches on some mathematics here correlating apparent sphericities and horizontalities with progression towards various counterspace infinities, but I would be lying to say this really makes sense to me yet. Also, GSW mentions that the apparent distance between planets is akin to the appearance of a stick being refracted in a pool of water.

I have recently read through several books by George Starr White, M.D. I find it remarkable this man who in his day sold some 7,000,000 volumes on health and diagnosed 250,000+ patients, and who innovated in so many areas does not even have a wikipedia entry.

I build a 'thing' based upon the notes above. Basically, I took a 3 foot galvanized (zinc) iron rod. I wound 14 gauge insulated copper wire (just what I had in the garage) in one direction down the length of the rod and in the other winding back up the rod leaving a few inches of rod exposed at the top and bottom and both ends of the copper loose at the top. I covered that all in electrical tape to hold the wire tight and in place. On the top I made a sort of capacitative volume. Basically I mixed up a combination of magnetite, magnesium dioxide, activate carbon, and copper powders with some fiberglass resin and cast the whole thing in the interior of a silicon ball ($1 dog toy, 3" diameter) and let the casting set with the top of the aforementioned rod dipped in. I then took said rod and have tried tapping it in at the base of 2 different trees, one medium sized pine and another enormous tree. On a few occasions I have either gazed one the capacity or held the capacity as GV describes in one of the later vril compendiums (9 maybe). As as aside, the commentary in 8-11 is dramatically easier to make sense of than 1-7. In any case, I experiences some but not all of the effects he describes. I did notice 1) a 'greying out' of the surrounding area, 2) the sense of my eyes being pulled to a nearby grounded iron object - in this case a street sign, 3) the falling 'white ray', this appears like a very fine misty rain falling over the area and I have noted it on other occasions, 4) a substantial visual clarification afterwords when looking around the immediate area (~10ft radius) at plants and such, this only lasted about 30 seconds.

Okay, so I've read my way through 3 more related books.

1) The Heretics Notebook (Pulse of the Planet Vol. 5) edited by Dr. James Demeo
2) New View Over Atlantis by John Mitchell
3) A System of Caucasian Yoga transcribed by Count Stefan Colonna Walewski

'Heretics Notebook' is a collection of articles on orgonomy from various authors and dates to 2001. Of particular interest are several articles going into great depth on the Dayton Miller 'dynamic ether drift' experiments which, in agreement with Michelson-Morley, show a ~20km/second directional drift of the Earth and if nothing else prove to be a thorn in the side of relativity theory. Also, Dr. Demeo provides evidence of the efficacy of cloudbusting for breaking up desert conditions following work in the deserts near Ethiopia for 5 summers in the late 1990s. There are a couple articles on pleomorphism which finds parallels in the work of Antoine Bechamp, Gunther Enderlein, Gaston Naessens, Bong Han Kim, Hyun-won Kim, Pierre De Vernejoul, and Jeewanu Bahadurvc

'New View' is really 2 books sort of stuck together. The second half outlines various ancient systems of measurement (greek, roman, jewish, etc.) and how said measurements correspond to various geodetics. It is very similar to some chapters in Peter Thompkins 'Secrets of the Great Pyramid'. The first half discusses the role of ley lines across the surface of the earth connecting various sacred spots (e.g. churches, barrows, etc.) and the use of terms like 'ley' and 'dod' for locations along these lines, especially in the British Isles. The author relies heavily on Alfred Watkins 'The Old Straight Track'. He points out the correspondence of barrow construction (alternating layers of organic and metallic materials) and Reich's ORAC. He also mentions "Mysteries of the Cathedral at Chartres" by Louis Charpentier and his use of the term 'woivres'. Vassilatos claims this as the origin of the term 'wavril' or simply 'vril'. There is a bit of discussion of mixing the solar/celestial (via spires, lightning rods) and earth/terrestrial energy (via grounded iron, paramagnetic stones) and portioning these off into various qualities corresponding to various plenary, geomantic, or bodily energies.

3) 'Yoga' is a tad bizarre. It is hand-written and appears to be notes and diagrams scrawled out in an attempt to keep up with a speaker expressing an oral tradition. Most of the postures and mantras and such are similar to those seen in other systems of yoga or in western magic traditions. On a couple of pages though, the author describes the use of an (magnetized) iron (or magnetite) rod held in the left hand ('moon') and a hardened carbon rod held in the right hand ('sun') for the purpose of quick revitalization and claims this originated with Egyptian rights. That part at least appears to have some visceral truth to it.

Secret of Light

Here is a relevant quote from Walter Russell's _The Secret of Life_ from the chapter "The Life Principle", section 'Suns are the seeds of creation'.

"In this manner the womb of mother earth becomes inpregnated with the seed of the man-idea extended from the sun, and the first cell of man unfolds from mother earth into the heavens toward the refolding light of the father.

The first pulsation of the mother-light which is borning God's idea into patterend form the the black light negative half of its pulsation cycle. The unfolding mother-light which reaches out into the heavens is the black light of expansion. Black light is the negative pattern of the positive idea of light as expressed by incandescence. In other words, black light is expanded, or unfolded, white light. Conversely, white incandescent light in contracted, or refolded black light.

This in Nature's method of giving formed bodies to formless idea. The positive father-light refolds the unfolding negative mother-light in cyclic wave pulsations which man calls 'growth', but growth is but a moving picture of sequential patterns of unfolding idea projected upon the imagined three-dimensional screen of time and space.

This is the Creator's method of electrically recording His One Whole Idea in many electrically sensed multi-patterned forms of matter."

Karl Hanz Welz

I have finally got around to reviewing Karl Hanz Welz website www.orgone.net regarding his initial invention of 'orgonite' (orgone/chi generators) and related radionic equipment. His thoughts on the subject of orgone, radionics, action at a distance, mesmer/reichenbach/reich (animal magnetism/od/orgone) are quite advanced and his explanations quite good. He points out 2 important features of 'orgone'. 1) Negative Entropy (energy moves from lower to higher potential until saturation is reached), 2) 'Structural links', e.g. the irrelavance of physical distance when moving energy between sympathetic forms (symbols, icons, 'radionic rates', totems, etc.)

Also, his design for 'orgonite' is ridiculously simple and very similar to the more widely known Don Croft designs. It requires an 'organic' material (paraffin wax or resin or epoxy or bees wax) and a metallic powder (like those available at art stores). Mix up the resin (or equivalent) with about 40% (volume? weight?) metallic powder in the desired form and let it set. Clearly I will have to max some pucks and rods and earth rods. He doesn't seem to see any importance to the embedded crystals in the Don Croft designs.

Carbon and Magnets

I procured a 12" (length) x 1" (diameter) graphite rod from graphitestore.com, also a 12" x 3/4" (outer diameter) copper pipe and a 12" x 1" (inner diameter) steel pipe, and 10 powerful ceramic magnet spheres of roughly 1cm diameter each.

Holding the magnets (various configurations) in my left hand and the graphite rod in my right hand, as described in 'A System of Caucasian Yoga' and mentioned in various of Gerry Vassilatos' writings and also mentioned in the BSRF tour of the Borderlands Museum (circa 1986) and written about on several websites under names like 'rods of ra' or 'egyptian rods'. In any case, the sensation is reasonably described as a 'thrilling current' running from the left side of my body to the right side with a strong 'pulse' to it. The sensation builds up to maximum strength over several seconds (up to about 30s) and then levels out. The sensation remains for several seconds after setting the rods and magnet down. Afterwords for a few minutes, the sensation is of having a spongy field around my hands, very much like after holding a pine tree for a minute or two. A steel rod in the left hand and carbon (graphite) in the right hand gave a similar but weaker effect. Likewise copper and graphite, but een weaker still. I had several friends try this also and they gave similar descriptions including 'tingling' and 'numbing' sensations in the hands.

I have recently read through the body of articles written by Gerry Vassilatos for the Journal of Borderlands Research. Among these are articles on recording telluric signals from various mineral samples, directions on making an aura compass, several articles on Eidetic Space and Eidetic Geocentrism, and an article describing experiments with copper sheets elevated for an extended period of time (e.g. 70 years) which exhibit the emission of substantial beta and gamma radiation as a function of (among other things) time of day. I have yet to read the biography of Crookes, but this appears as if it would have been a good addition to the Lost Science book. Although I am still trying to synthesize all of this knowledge, at least now it is clear that much of his discussion of eidetics comes from the Greek philosophy of Democritus and Epicurus regarding eidola and effluxes.

Clarifying terms

It occurs to me that much of the confusion in this field comes from the convolution of terms with similar meanings under the vague 'ether'. On the one hand we have whatever it is (space? ether? stresses in ether?) that is bounded by magneto or dielectric vortices (with or without charged particles), bound inside/outside wires, bound inside/outside nucleic particles, etc. JJ Thompson, the guy who discovered the electron, used the term Ether. At this point I am quite confortable conceptializing this form just as a shaping of space (and counterspace?). The other term which is regularly referred to as Ether is the ambipolar neutrino radiation with oscillating mass, oscillating charge, and various species as a function of both frequency and wavelength. This form also goes under the terms massfree orgone energy, cosmic orgone energy, neutrino, ambipolar radiation, vril flux, radiant matter, radiant energy, and a variety of other names. Note that both of these are distinct from the notion of a purely mechanical ether. Which begs the question, what are the proper terms for these three species of distinct concepts?

I have been reviewing some recently made available videos of the BSRF (Borderlands Science Research Foundation) crew's experiments circa 1987. Peter Lindemann has made them available as a package of 'classic energy videos' on one of his websites (http://www.classicenergyvideos.com/emediapress.php). There are all sorts of wonderful and fascinating phenomena demonstrated on these videos, but I will focus on a 40 minute span of Eric Dollard demonstrations on the 'free energy research' video from about 80 minutes to 120 minutes in. Some of these phenomena had been described in the previously published Tom Brown interview with Eric Dollard in the 'Eric Dollard - Free Energy Research' booklet still available from Borderlands, and there is some supporting imagery in said booklet of a dielectric discharge into an insulator with a prominent golden mean ratio Lichtenberg figure.

In any case, Eric shows (at least) the following things:

1) A small tesla transformer modulating some classical music with a spark gap producing impulse currents. When several pieces of wood are exposed to said current, a Lichtenberg figure is burned into the wood over time. The pattern is distinctly dendritic and organic in form, appearing like the top side of a tree. This pattern is descrived as being 'dielectric' in nature. Also described, but not show, are patterns shown from an inductive (magnetic) discharge with more 'root-like' patterns.

2) An evacuated (vacuum) globe of about 4" diameter is placed between the vertical pancake coils of 2 large small transformers which are facing with the high voltage nodes away from each other. In this area, there is a complex interplay between 2 monopolar dielectric fields. The interior of the bulb forms planetary looking globules within a distinct plasma membrane. Also described, but not shown, are formations from an earlier public demonstration with a very similar setup but much larger tesla transformers. Over time Eric claims that forms like nebulae and galaxies appear. This is in keeping with Wilhelm Reich's "Cosmic Superimposition" thesis and similar to the David Talbott's "Electric Universe" thesis. Also claimed is that over time these bulbs will form small punctures with the accompanying sound of escaping gas at high velocity and that if one holds ones hands near the bulb, one will feel an outward pressure. This suggests the manifestation of ponderable matter from interacting dielectric fields (in the presense of nuetrino's). This is also reminiscent of one of Dan Winter's maxims "matter follows life follow water follows dielectricity follows mind".

3) A phenomena is described, but not shown, where a form of dielectric discharge has the property of absorbing light and that this can be seen against a background such as a diffuse flourescent light. Gerry Vassilatos, in his work, describes this 'black radiance' under the term Vril at great length.

4) Lighting up a flourescent bulb in the vicinity of the capacitative node of the tesla transformer.

5) Extremely high voltage DC with dielectric lines of force visualized by strings.

I have recently finished re-reading Wilhelm Riech's _God, Ether, Devil & Cosmic Superimposition_. From a natural science standpoint, chapter 6 (Ether) of _God, Ether, Devil_ and the entirety of _Cosmic Superimposition_ are both worth reading. I am also digging through the ponderous _Character Analysis_ - including all sorts of Freudian dreams. Using Bing.com, I found this site (http://www.aquapulser.com/plasma/index.html) which claims to use some sort of custom high voltage technology related to Tesla's "distruptive discharge" and the Stanley Meyer water torch and is capable of generating Plasma balls in a standard automotive spark plug (spark cap). There are videos and they are awesome. I've been thinking about the multiple definitions of Ether (inert medium, electrically/magnetically neutral formative force, quasi-living substance beneath all matter) and the various manifestations of the term Plasma (as in living substance in a living body, quasi living substance in high vacuum tubes and space, and ecto-plasma or quasi living substance in the environment). Also, the phenomena of the various frequencies of DNA remaining for days after the DNA has been removed from a high vacuum. Also, the phenomena of an unfertilized chicken egg giving the same galvanic frequency response as the heartbeat of an actually forming chicken. Also, the concept from _Cosmic Superimposition_ of material form folllowing 'dual orgone superimposition' forms into wellknown organ shapes. Also, the concept that cells, plants, 'bions' seem to show intent in the absense of things like a nervous system. And of course, Reichenbach and Reich's observations of emanations (blue spiralling, cold flames, etc) in local space related to iron enclosures in contact with the ground. I sense that there is some unity to these phenomena.

Is plasma everywhere present? If so, are these observations then just a function of the local density? What is the relationship between iron grounding and plasma? What are the various species of plasma and do they interact in the manner of cosmic orgone energy as described by Reich? What is the relationship between plasma and dielectric fields? Reich seems to have been unaware of Crookes or Reichenbach or of (nascient) plasma science in his time. Are the white ray and black ray (Vril Compendium 1) the cosmic neutrino flux (solar) and earth-reservoired vril/plasma, respectively?

I am starting to get more consistent reactions when touching grounded iron rods now. Last week outside of the office, the facilities people had tapped an iron rod into the ground with a little ring on top - part of a gate I think - and I touched it for just a moment. It's a bit hard to describe the sensation, but 'thrilling current' comes pretty close. Almost as if the pulse in my hand were to be filling a space 1.5 times the size of my 'meat' hand. In any case, I am intrigued as this is a sensation that I would have had no basis for predicting outside of Vassilatos' accounts.

I just finished a 2003 reprinting of Peter Thompkins _The Secret Life of Plants_. Clearly much of the research work at Borderlands in general and in Gerry Vassilatos' books in particular intersects heavily with this work. Amoung other things, Thompkins gives treatment to the electronic+plant sensors of L. George Lawrence, touches on Wilhelm Reich and Rudolf Steiner, and has one of the better chapters on Radionics I've read so far including an overview of Abrams, Drown, Hieronymous, and De La Warr. Since the book is more of a survey of the field than anything else, the bibliography is the most interesting part. If anything, I'm disapponted the book hasn't been updated since 1973. There is plenty more in this book concerning electric-like/magnetic-like/plasma-like species of light/energy with profound interactions with biological systems, but again with no solid theoretical underpinnings - only phenomenology. I have recently finished _Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion_ by Paul Laviolette. Here he chronicles the work of Thomas Townsend Brown and further developments along that line of research within the US aerospace industry. He puts forth plenty of experimental results, many of which were new to me, and a theoretical explanation using 'Subquantum Mechanics'. He quotes heavily from Vassilatos concerning Telsa's work with highly non-linear 'disruptive discharge' experiments and claims that the combination of high-K dielectrics, non-linear pulses, and non-linear electrical field shapes are all prerequisites for successful results. While I certainly think this work is interested, I'll leave the megavolt experiments to others. Interestingly, he also brings up Faraday's Homoplanar generator which plays an important theoretical role in Meyl's work.

Also, I just finished up _New Worlds Beyond the Atom_ by Langston Day and George De La Warr. Following the line of Ruth Drown's work, De La Warr devised a set of radionic instruments which were capable of making diagnosis, treatment, and photographs of internal organs (and thought-forms) through a combination of radionic tuning (below), operator mental focusing, a static magnetic field (described as a double vortex lying along a particular orientation), and some sort of specimen linked to the subject (blood sample, photograph, etc.). In spite of the complete absense of a workable theory, the photographs are enough to give one serious pause. There is a real phenomena here worthy of further emperical exploration. The various radionic tuners I have come across so far appear to be simply a set of 10+ adjustable capacitors or resistors (rheostats) with one end of each connected to a common metal plate. Although these instruments contain electrical components, their operation is clearly non-electrical in nature. I have another high level overview on radionics coming in a few days, and hopefully that will have some more schematics to look over.

I have begun considering the notion of treating 'current' as as a 'magnetic current vortex' (MCV) embedded within a metal body and 'potential' as a balanced 'dielectric potential vortex' in the space around a metal body and reinterpreting the body of electric/magnetic/etc. phenomena in this context. More on that as the theory progresses.

In other news, I found this patent 'Electic Compass' by Pedro Fodor, US Patent 6,230,415 B1(http://www.google.com/patents?id=DJUHAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&lpg=PA1&dq=United+States+Patent+6230415&source=bl&ots=Uy03iEiuDW&sig=nMR4seK5WhQ20rJF6wDjBNStw5A&hl=en&ei=JecdSvrkD-DcmQeevaC6Bg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=6#PPA1,M1). Note the similarities between this patent and Gerry Vassilatos' description of a human compass as a diamond shaped piece of aluminum foil on a pin. Next question, how do I buy one of these things?

A couple more thoughts:

1) Meaning of the orgone icon (left):

Think of the neutrino flux as primary and capable of generating the matter/anti-matter electron/positron pair. I would say the icon is a pretty good rune for describing this function.

2) Accelerated radioactivity decay through neutrino bombardment:

a. Le Bon and Tesla both believed that radioactive emissions (alpha, beta, gamma rays) are the result of bombardment of the so-called radioactive substance (uranium for instance) by 'cosmic rays' as a function of the extreme density of substances like uranium. Le Bon, and Vassilatos, were both able to detect radioactive emissions from 'normal' metals like aluminum under concentrated sunlight. Further, Le Bon was able to demonstrate that under such bombardment, the half-life of his radioactive samples was definitely not a constant.

b. I recall an experiment described by Bill Beaty at the Keelynet Convergence back in 2001 in which he described abbreviating the half-life of radioactive substances through the use of an arc welder. Think of the arc weld as a (non-quenched) disruptive discharge, capable of interacting with the neutrino flux at sufficient voltage (I have seen 511-512kV from multiple sources).

c. Consider Wilhelm Reich's Oranur experiment in which he placed a small amout of radioactive substance in an orgone accumulator. As a result, everyone in the facility became very sick - as if being assaulted by radioactive emissions at a prodigious rate - and the site had to be abandoned for some weeks-months. When they returned, the formerly radioactive sample was completely emission free.

3) Speculated capacity of concentrated neutrino flux to also absorb light:

a. If a set of neutrinos could find expression alternately as electron(s) and positron(s) thus co-anihilating as a photon emission, is it not reasonable to suppose also that a photon could be captured by the neutrino flux, pulled apart into an electron and positron, and reconfigured into a neutrino again. At a later date, I will have to work through the math (quanta reactions, energetic emissions, etc.).

b. If this were the case, then Gerry Vassilatos' description of the vril as an organically growing (like a grape vine) radiant blackness remains compatable with the vril as neutrino flux thesis.

c. I have read (and need citation) a number of experiments with differential orgone accumulators (e.g. take a cardboard tube and wrap it with alternating layers of foil and wax paper with progressively more layers at one end than the other --> accumulation of blackness in space over time),

d. I met a man a few years ago at a Dan Winter workshop who reported actually seeing black vortices around himself.

e. There is much discussion in the T.T. Brown chapter of _Lost Science_ concerning arc welds and the generation of black 'spaces' that are capable of de-inertialising and absorbing matter. I'm still looking for a first-hand source on that one.

I finished up Konstantin Meyl's _Scalar Waves_ volume in English and am now trying to synthesize his insights in the context of Tesla, Reich, Dollard/Vassilatos/Lindemann, Davis/Rawls, Reichenbach, etc. Without giving away all the details, _Scalar Waves_ is compelling reading for those interested in the fundamentals of Electro-magnetic theory and is worth your time to read all 650 pages. Meyl pulls together an alternate interpretation of Faraday and Ampere's laws in the comtext of Laplace's wave equation to arrive at a variant of 'Maxwells equations' that included eddy currents and potential vortices. From there he derives the mass, spin, and electrical/magnetic properties of the basic quanta including electon, neutron, photon, neutrino, and many others. He makes a compelling mathematical and experimental arguement to the effect that the (on average) 0 net mass and 0 net charge carriers in Tesla (and others) longitudinal wave transmitters are effectively neutrinos. This jibes nicely with Vassilatos (_Secrets of the Cold War Technology_) and Lindemann's (_Radiant Energy_, _Free Energy Secret of Cold Electricity_) description of the non-electrical neutral currents generated by Tesla via 'disruptive discharge' across a quenched spark gap to power his 'Tesla Transformers" (ground + flat coil + aerial capacity). This also jibes pretty well with the Reichenbach Od emanations as plasma-like discharge where in this case some neutrinos would be expressed (based upon earth resonance, and who knows what other factors) as alternately electron or positron and would thus co-annihilate and be expressed as photons and thus both visible and chemically photographical but without the generation of heat. Further, this calls to mind the blue orgone emanations visible in Reich's orgone accumulators if one conceives of the orgone as a set of spinning potential vortices (or neutrinos at phi*C speed) which again can co-annihilate to generate visible photons. Remember that Dollard feels the orgone accumulator is acting as a capacitor of massfree-orgone/magneto-dielectric field. There are also hints in this work as to the potential effectiveness of tesla coils and/or bifiliar coils as relevant pieces of scalar wave detectors. Also hints of radiesthia/dowsing as a result of biological/neural interaction with the scalar waves generating action potentials, and of course ancient Greek/Roman temples as resonant phase-modulated scalar wave voice transponders. The really exciting thing though is that now we have a mathematical theory derived directly from Laplace+Faraday+Ampere from which to make testable hypothesis concerning electromagnetic AND magneto-dieletric/longitudinal/scalar waves along with another experimental AND repeatable reproduction of Tesla's longitudinal transponder.

"Earth Energy and Vocal Radio: Nathan Stubblefield" Page 86 under the heading 'Terminals':

"Touching a well grounded iron rod is a good first experiment to try in these regards. Try and find a place where power leakage into the ground is minimal...a park or wooded area. Take a yard-long iron ros whose surface is free of shellac or insulator coatings. Carefullt drive the rod into the ground with a hammer. Wetted hands ib the iron should produce a mild electrical sensation. These voltages can be measured. They 'pin' sensitive galvanometers. The current does not cease after several weeks if axtivity when properly placed."

and a similar experiment with hints of an 'orgone accumulator' comes from an excerpt on Franz Anton Mesmer from Page 9 in "Luminous World: Baron Karl Von Reichenbach" under the heading 'Animal Magnetism':

"Mesmer's earliest work centers around the development of a strange battery-like accumulator by which his earliest and most famous cures were wrought...The battery was developed slowly, the result of an attempt to mimic conditions found at certain "sacred spots" of the Austrian countryside. Mesmer constructed the battery to imitate natural configurations. It has a decidely organice asect to its internal structure. A grounded device, the wooden tub housed several thick layers of wet vegetable matter and iron slag. A single iron rod ran through the entire composition, closed at the top with a circular wooden barrier. While working with the development and application of his special battery, Mesmer himself received a distinct impulse when he touched the single iron pole. Electrostatic shock was not unknown. Familiar with these, he declared that this energy was completely different in nature, having a more body permeating and 'thrilling' aspect when experienced. But none of Mesmer's subjects reported that the effect was identical with common electrostatic shocks. These shocks were thrilling, vivyfying, exciting, and definitely curative. Those who touched the exposed rod experienced a sudden tingling rush which permeated their bodies, bringing delighted shrieks or sighs, but most often stimulating a sudden unconsciousness."

Over the last week, I have made some more headway retreading Gerry Vassilatos' research. I listened to his 2 interviews from the Laura Lee show on his _Lost Science_ book, "Losing Science to Avarice" and "UFOs, Nazi's, and Beyond", and have also begun rereading "Lost Science". I have begun reading Gustav Le Bon's _The Evolution of Matter_, chronicling his early work with radioactive substances and unique interpretations, more on that later. Also, I have received and read the English-language versions of Dr. Konstantin Meyl's texts, _Scalar Wave Transponder_ and _Scalar Wave Technology_ which describe his theoretical and experimental extensions of Maxwell's Equations to include scalar waves (alternately called longitudinal waves, potential vortices, or dielectric lines of induction), and have received but not read his enormous _Scalar Waves_. Dr. Meyl describes these vortices/waves as traveling along the electric field pointer and being constituted of a neutron flux the particles of which oscillate between positive and negative charge yielding a net neutral charge.

I think it is worth quoting from _Lost Science_ on the subject of the amazing researches of Baron Karl von Reichenbach. Briefly, in the course of studying the impacts of alternate species of light (e.g. lunar rays) on the human body, the Baron discovered that his 'sensitives' and even he could see (electrically and magnetically neutral) plasma-discharge-esque flames emanating from minerals, crystals, magnets, people, braided wires connected to large metal plates exposed to various light spectra, chemical reactions, etc. Having read the Baron's original texts, translated into English and available through Borderlands Research Science Foundation, I find Gerry's description to be pretty well grounded in the facts of the experiments conducted by the Baron over a course on 40 years in the mid 1800's. In any case, here is the quote (_Lost Science_, "Luminous World: Baron Karl Von Reichenbach", page 19 under heading 'Od Energy'):

"New knowledge! First, sensitives could actually detect and report the penetrating effects of a new soecies in moonlight. Second, this conducted energy was not light itself. Had it been light, its effects could not have provoked spasms by conductive contact alone. Not light, but carried along with lightbeams. A curious paradox! Thrid, this conducted energy produced defined sensations when physiologically contacted and conducted. Fourth, this unknown energy was capable of being both absorbed and conducted along metal wires. Fifth, it was neither electrical nor magnetic energy. Sixth, it became radiant when discharged from points across space. Seven, after brief exposures, matter could store the energy for prolonged periods. Eight, mirrors could reflect the currents. Nine, all of his sensitives gace closely identical reports during their independant sessions. Cleraly this was a completely unrecognized force having its own laws and properties."

On page 9, Gerry also describes Mesmer's earth battery, as recorded in the works of the Baron, but that will have to wait for another post.

I have recently finised 'Electric Universe' and 'Thunderbolts of the Gods' (DVD) from Thornhill and Talbott and am compelled by the idea of an electrical interpretation of cosmic effects. I think this idea has some rather compelling evidence behind it (read the book) and also that it intersects well with the idea (Wilhelm Reich _Cosmic Superimposition_, experimental reproduction here : "FUNCTIONAL THINKING: An Interview With Eric Dollard
by Tom Brown" http://www.scene.org/~esa/merlib/magneto-dielectric.pdf) that the intersection of two 'massfree cosmic orgone' streams (alternately described by Vassilatos as Vril channels) results in the generation of mass, electricity, and distinct galaxy-like forms as seen in many plasma discharges.

Also, I am reproducing the "Experiment: Ground Antennas
By Gerry Vassilatos & Michael Theroux" experiment (http://www.borderlands.com/newstuff/research/ground-ant.htm) with pretty good results so far. I tapped a foot-long steel pipe into the ground at the base of a large tree, spliced together a 30 ft unshielded steel cable from 4 small steel threads (~1mm diameter each), connected the steel cable to the steel rod, ran the cable up the tree about 6 feet, and then ran my cable into my dining room via a window. I then disconnected the normal antenna from a 1980's transistor radio and connected my steel cable to the radio. Gerry and Michael make claims that through a process of working the tuner over time, the set of available stations (AM) will grow over time and that eventually one will be able to pick up stations as far as Peking, China and South Africa from New York city. I ran the antenna at 9am 5/2/2009 and was able to pick up about 4 stations. Ocassionally over the next few hours, the volume would spuriously raise by a factor of 4 or so. By 3pm 5/2/2009, I had 8 clear stations. I just now worked the dial (9pm, 5/4/2009) and was able to pick up signals from 34 stations, only a few of them clearly. More news as time progresses.

2) Run a steel line from the pipe to one node of a galvonometer
3) Run a steel line from the second node of the galvonometer to a carbon rod
4) Point the carbon rod along various axes and at various positons and observer the galvonometer readings

1) Take a piece of aluminum foil, cut it in a long diamond shape, crease is down the center, pivot it on a needle point
2) Take a container full of water, such as a repurposed salad dressing bottle
3) Tape the needle to the container such that the needle is verticle, place the folded-aluminum-diamond on the needle point
4) Suppress wind, air flow, etc.
5) Point your hand at the 'human compass' from various positions and observe
6) Leave the room and observe the natural direction of the human-compass

Having just read the commentary of the Vril Compenium 10, I have set up a variant of an experiment described in the text. The experiment basically entails consciously gazing at an object for about 15 minutes and watching the emanations and other 'eidetic' (Read: Literally seen) effects. Vassilatos calls for using a large piece of iron that is either grounded or near the ground. Instead, I used a home-made orgonite cone (copper, resin, a few quartz crystals) wrapped with a single loop of fine steel cable both ends of which were grounded to 10" steel pipes which I had pounded into the ground at the base of 2 large trees.

I saw some of the phenomena which he describes.

1) The object appears to go transparent.
2) The object becomes surrounded in a sort of black radiance the appearance of which is like an after-image except that it's position is tied to the object and not to a particular location in my visual field.
3) A friend observed a white puff of smoke and the appearance of 'heat contours'.

Next up, I will try an experiment he describes in the Vril Compendium 9 which involves holding a carbon rod (trying a 14mm diameter piece of drawing charcoal) in one hand and a steel rod (trying a piece of pipe) in the other hand while standing in flowing water. In this case I will be using the Atlantic Ocean (Gulf of Mexico). In any case, with the rods aligned on certain intuitively determined axes, I am supposed to experience a 'thrilling current'. We will see.

The question then is what is the best way to generate a dielectric field?
I see 4 options from the literature, and there are certainly more.

1) Build an aerial capacitor with large separated metal plates (a la Galvani) and recognize that a dielectric field exists between the plates.
2) Use a variant of the Tesla Magnifying Transmitter (TMT) as described in his patents (US Patent No 649,621 and others), in Konstantin Meyl's videos/books, and in Eric Dollard's videos/books. This amounts to starting with a grounded LRC circuit which is powered by magnetic induction between the inductor and a primary coil. Replace the inductor with 2 inductors, each coupled to a primary coil with one powered and the other unpowered. Finally, replace the plates of the capacitor with aerial copper balls (or other capacitance such as a neon bulb) and separate the circuit into two by taking each inductor to ground rather than connecting them.
3) Build an 'analog computer' circuit as described by Eric Dollard and by Thomas Brown here: http://thomasbrown.org/Light&Electricity/light_and_electricity.html, and in one of Eric Dollard's videos on Longitudinal electricity
4) Use a cloud buster, basically a tube (flexible and/or rigid) of iron or steel connected to a flowing water source.

My goal is to follow the breadcrumbs left behind by the research of Gerry Vassilatos. Gerry spent thousands of hours digging through Victorian era archives of electrical science seeking an answer to a set of experimental phenomena described by Nikola Tesla and others of that era and since. His research and bibliography are to be found across his books, videos, articles, and interviews. These include the books Vril Compendium (1-11), Lost Science, Secrets of the Cold War Technology, and Declassified Patents of the Cold War and SDI, Ray of Discovery. Also 4 videos, the Ray of Discovery (Nikola Tesla, Royal Rife, and a third I don't have), and Tesla's New York. Also, 5 interviews he gave on the Laura Lee show, 'Tesla and the Ether Theory', 'Vril Energy', 'Losing Science to Avarice', 'UFOs, Nazi's, and Beyone', and 'Cold War Secrets Revealed'. In addition, he and Michael Theroux published several articles on subjects such as Ground Radio through the Borderlands Science Research Foundation and some tapes on recording plants and minerals. About the time that I discovered and started consuming the work of Gerry and others, he opted to stop publishing and has been unreachable since. Nonetheless, I owe him a debt of gratitude for all of the rocks he has turned over and the lines of research and experiment suggested by his work.

Rather than adding to the blogosphere with my own speculation, my interest here is to replicate, record, and share many of the more compelling experiments explored in Gerry's bibliography. The first phase of my work is currently ongoing, a deep study of the available materials as well as conventional electro-magnetic theory straight from the original sources. Following this phase, I will select a set of experiments to conduct and share.
